CHOPARD LOVES CINEMA
Feel the climax of a red-carpet day in Cannes and live the high life with Chopard Since 1998, Chopard has formed a glittering duo with the Cannes International Film Festival to which it serves as official partner. During the weeks that precede the Festival, Chopard’s workshops bring to life a splendid High Jewellery Red-Carpet Collection infused with the house’s special aura of love, joy and beauty, designed by Caroline Scheufele.
Every year, over the past decades, the greatest stars of the world dazzle on Cannes’ legendary Montée des Marches in the Maison’s high-jewellery creations, making Chopard the true Red-Carpet Jeweller and an inescapable lodestar when it comes to glamour.
The film introducing Love Chopard is an invitation to partake in a lively, glamourous and aspirational moment of love and beauty. From the Croisette to the mythical sea-shore, from the Martinez Hotel’s balcony to the spotlights, the effervescence of the Cannes Film Festival fills the air with scintillating glamour and love. Like an iconic movie-star, 19 year-old Italian model, Giulia Maenza, shines in Chopard one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces by Chopard. The contemporary embodiement of a young star, she breaths love and life into Cannes red-carpet days. She loves the high life and she loves Chopard. Everywhere she goes, she leads us in her dance, radiating a contagious love-of-life attitude.
Both the film and the photography were shot in Cannes during the 72nd International Film Festival in May 2019 by talented Vogue photographer Giampaolo Sgura.

THE MASTER PERFUMER
ALBERTO MORILLAS
After decades of unwavering passion for the craft of perfumery, Alberto’s ideas continue to stand out. His extraordinary journey is alive in his intricately designed, legendary body of creations. It is certainly no surprise that Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas is the very first perfumer in history to receive the Fragrance Foundation’s esteemed Lifetime Achievement Award. His life-long partnership with research and development chemists and encyclopedic knowledge of perfume history allow him to fuse innovative natural techniques with breakthrough synthetic molecules, many of which he helped bring to patent, to create true works of art. Humbly, he notes that he still has doubts. “Even when we’ve learned everything there is to know, there is always doubt. A formula is like a well-written sentence: there are thousands of beautiful words from which to choose, but what makes it impactful, is the emotion with which they are brought together.”
THE PACKAGING

THE MASTER PERFUMER
DORA BAGHRICHE
Dora Baghriche’s first love was writing. She dreamed of becoming an international reporter before she fell in love with perfume and perfumery.
Forever curious, Dora’s inquisitive mind has always pushed her toward discovery which is why she has often uncovered unknown artists with remarkable talent. I envelop the questions the destination inspires, allow them to become personal and then capture them in my journal; a wealth of complex, multi-faceted specifications.
Dora likes to say that she works with perfume. It is her ally, opening up a field of infinite emotional possibilities. From each creation, each collaboration, derives a little magic.
